Woodstock Fiano 2024

Hailing from the warmer coastal regions of southern Italy, Fiano is an ancient Italian wine grape that is incredibly suited to the maritime climate of our home region McLaren Vale, creating a fresh, crisp and textured white wine that lends itself beautifully to a multitude of food pairings.

Winemaking

A small parcel of this Italian variety was handpicked at optimal flavour ripeness to capture delicate varietal characters and retain natural acidity. The grapes were then pressed into one stainless steel tank and two oak hogsheads for fermentation. A combination of the two fermentation vessels helped us create a fresh aromatic white wine with fine texture and minerality.

The Wine

Tropical fruits of pineapple and guava on the nose with hints of passionfruit. The palate is full of life, brimming with mouth filling fruit sweetness and subtle creamy texture. The wine finishes dry and crisp exhibiting hints of citrus and minerality.
